Is there anyway to change the main character's name (the player)? If not, Ncrow, if you read this, for the next update, could you please add a name-changing system? It would be very nice if anyone can change their name to whatever they want. To me, it feels weird to not go by the name I went by anymore. I mean, the latest update did mess up saves.
It is alredy possible and it was, just go to his room inside you will see in top left corner of the screen, "gear" icon, click on this you can change here freely without limits.

I was just being a smart ass since people were rushing in to blame instead of read. I just reverted to a save slightly earlier and it worked perfectly.
At present, there are many bugs in version 0.4.2. The fish can't be sold in the store, and the task also reports errors. I have experienced this version very badly. I hope to solve the problem as soon as possible.
@Avel-afk is right, you should NOT just download others saves(If it is your friend, who can be trusted, its fine.). You should just start anew game. Better safe, right?
Well, if you really want to get those numbers back....
You can enable debug mode and renpy CLI by putting the following code in a file named debug.rpy in the folder named "game" inside the installation. The code :
init 999 python:
config.developer = True
config.console = True
Then restart the game and press Shift+D for debug menu and choose "variable viewer".
Now find variables for your flower counts.
Close the viewer and press Shift+O for renpy CLI. Now assign whatever number you want to those variables by typing "variablename = whatever number". For example, if variable for red flower is redflow, you can type redflow = 2304 to get 2304 red flowers in game.
NOTE : I'm not taking responsibility if you break something by messing up above instructions. Follow at your own risk.
Will there be a chance to not be called "master" by Ryoko?, i honestly said it to her to not be called or treated like this just after she said first time, since i dont like to be called like this and she can use "player name" maybe later an affectionate something she like, also from the 0.4.0 version i wanted to give her a real weapon too asap if there was an actual option, thank you!
I agree, much as the very beginning explains why she calls us Master, surely enough time has passed and enough has happened that we can forgo that in favour of our actual name.
As far as I’m concerned with most games I’ve played that dealt with taking care of slaves, it isn’t easy for them to break that habit, especially if they develop intense loyalty to you. They perceive you much higher than others because of your kindness and grow the desire to serve you, and probably only you.
Oh, and Ryoko is kind of just… content with the current master-servant relationship she has with Ryo (p.s: default name), so why bother changing it?
Well she was never a slave the necklace placed on her was just to protect her from those that hunts her race for their magic abilities, "MC" stated that more than once for him she is not any too and not wanted to be any of that stating from start that she is his partner(girlfriend) and their relationship is simply like this, so as i see there is no reason she use "Master" word. As Phoenix said too i agree to that, i dont mind if she will use "MC name", she sometimes use it without the "master".
Maybe it's just the chain's effects. Because I always thought she must have suffered some extensive trauma with her previous owner, but wasn't it that nobody ever even had her as a slave and her mother just put around her neck to protect her? Nobody ever urged her to call anyone master. It is either her of deliberate choice (freaky), or an effect of the necklace.
The necklace as some of us knows, restrains her powers to not be detected, that was the reason why her mother did whad she did ofc just to protect her. And she never was a slave to begin with. I am very curious of the extent of her powers honestly, she is very smart and inteligent on top of that she is pure, innocent, gentle, kind,curious & brave &cuuuutee!, and she learns things very fast from i noticed too, and i am very curious how she can be without it, and am waiting patiently for wayyyy more content and amazing story that comes next i also am very curious what happens next, Amazing work thank you NCrow once more.
Yeah, but the male goon slaves who attacked the priestess also had the same necklace, and as far as I'm concerned they had no powers they had to subdue with it, so it's probably just there to coerce them into submission. It is probably some mimd control aparatus that messes with the head of it's subjects to some degree, while also apparently inhibiting their powers. A side effect of that may be the fact that Ryoko keeps calling Ryo her master. My likelier theory, as a veteran who has played this game from around the first if not first version, is however that the story was originally that Ryoko was supposed to be a runaway slave (there are plenty of indicators that will likely be reworked when Ncrow gets around to do it) and she has ptsd, which has now been retconned to the story we know today. The master thing may stick around if Ncrow is into it, I suppose, personally I don't mind, but I get that some people may do.

Realmente me gusta el tipo de humor que tiene, los momentos tristes, felices e incluso los momentos tensos. Las escenas de sexos estan bastante bien, pero realmente amo la historia, tiene muchisimo potencial (no se si lo dije bien en ingles antes xd)

I had completed a whole new save and specifically avoided the missions with the turn-based combat that causes the bug, and I still got the issue xD
Ah well, guess I should have waited for the update to start anew in the first place. Time to waste a whole lot more time :P
