Hello I'm Ncrow speaking to whoever sees this... or not... well, I have started the development of Goddesses' Whim!!
All saves created in versions 0.4.0 and 0.4.1 are no longer working!

You, the protagonist of all this, with a big heart (and something else..)
Because of your past, you are someone with a boring and lonely life who does nothing but study and train.
But one day, given your personality to help others no matter what, you decide to give your life to save another, which attracts the attention of a certain Goddess.
Now, with the opportunity to return to live in another world, you will not let everything be as it was before.
What does it have?:
- The most important, a lot of girls who will fall in love with the personality of the main character (that's you).
- Affection system.
- Exploration/sandbox.
- Customized H animations.
- Mission interface.
- Hints system.
- Collection-Harvesting (Fish/Wood/Gold).
All goddesses seek not to be bored, and you will soon discover that some can be more capricious than others.
What awaits you? What kind of people will you meet? And obviously, how many girls will be madly in love with you?

I replaced the old version 0.4.0 onto the new one0.4.2 and after that i tried loading my saved game, it kinda got an error I couldn't play my saved game

Pd: I love all of them
Fun game. Though I was a bit upset when I downloaded the new update and then got all my data wiped because of the "An exception has occurred" screen, and putting me back at naming the character when I use Ignore. That's every saves by the way, none of them work.
Da fuq, I love this game, but why didn't anyone tell me that there's already 0.4.2. Like I'm still on 0.3.7. damn thanks for the updates.

Game is amazing, great quality, cool.mini games, grind is not toof hard but still fulfilling!
when i try to load my save file it just shows a roll back and then tries to make me fully restart the game do u know if theres a way to fix this?
Scroll above the page or a little lower, read other posts maybe you will find your answer, as to try & help you "start new game" skip button* you can do it, there is no problems with "saves", game is not hard at all, every quest/task are completable no need to grind, +you can enjoy maybe to start again, first thing first, before repeating read :)

I think it's time to continue the main Story, I mean it's really good to spend time and know more about the girls but it's wait long enough.
Which part? Getting clothes from magic shop to visit capital? Helping Lycoris Clan? Doing more upgrades as Village Leader? Learning more about Divine Power to help Alice and Shika? Or Kaede setting up shop, so we can get Ryoko a proper katana?
Get the clothes, help the village, village creates a new path to kingdom, help keade set up shop, get ryoko a new katana, learn divine power, go with akane to the lycoris clan to seek information on something to do with the kingdom, then do something from there.
Honestly first time i played 0.4.0 i was hoping in next update i give Ryoko real weapon so she has it to use whenever she will be ready for it, and i even build room for Karyn after they meeting in the house, to answer both of yours questions, i was hoping for all of that as its partially what creates "story" and i wish there will be a lot more story and content.
About the protagonist true identity and his lost memory and his mother, now it has so many hint but nothing is clear.
Well i have some theories but i will keep them for myself i think.

For those who has reading problems, this info is above the page* it was written sooner not only here but also on patreons page before, there is no issues with save i can confirm i started new from the begining, i not saw any issues, they normally loads correctly. As before i recommend to read before repeating the same comments.
how can i change the player name since my last save doesnt work anymore i followed the solution but at the save the player name is ryo how can i changed it
you can't iirc
Go to your bedroom and click the gear icon in the top left corner.
Player name can be changed anytime, without limits, go inside his room in the house, top left corner of the screen, "gear icon".

I have played the 4.1 android version, downloaded the 4.2 and now my saves are giving me an error, and restarting the whole game. Is there any way to fix it?

I got 55 new people to try out this game, but I didn’t send them to download it from the official link—I used a Mediafire link I made myself.
I wonder if what I did was okay?
lol I rather go to a known gaming platform. Reason is I don’t trust a third party because it’s possible they could add code/virus to any game file. Not saying you did this but it’s possible to do.

bueno... yo empecé a jugar desde la versión 0.4.0 así que mis datos se fueron a la mierda. el juego es hermoso, fácilmente nos podemos encariñar con los personajes, la trama es hermosa y la animación igual. por favor sigue con el proyecto y si puedes por favor que no se vuelva a repetir el error, a este juego si le dedique varias horas ya que leí cada palabra que aparecía y la verdad serán varias horas para llegar a donde estaba. ¡¡¡GRACIAS POR ESTA OBRA DE ARTE!!!
First time i found the game & played was 0.4.0 thanks to comments of other players about the story i checked it and completed 100% of current game content, i had 100% cleared save too but still i dont care much about the save, i am more curious and want more content & story, way mooore, the first thing i wanted after that was 1st give Ryoko a real weapon, 2nd if i can i build a room for Karyn, still patiently i hope for way more content, a small spoiler after first encounter with Kaede i alredy knew it was obvious too that she is mother of Mayu.
I feel like i just watched and finished an anime and everytime i look back it gives me that nostalgic but not feel yk

Ncrow, your game is honestly a masterpiece. I initially downloaded this because I'm a gooner and I want to play gooner games, but this game is different. The plot is so well developed to the point that I've cried a few times, the character design and animations are amazing, and theres so much to do. Please keep up the great work

I sacrificied some sleep and restored my progress. Quite unfortunate but the new intro was unexpected because the MC just died in front of the whole crowd and the huzz. I wonder what is going to happen back there.
Recapping the story, I wonder who was the person we saw in Fumikos world behind the wall, because the scene just ended there, maybe there was a timeskip? But the hair tie looks like our mother's hair tie.
The mothers name also means "future" so maybe she has some time related powers, that's why she knows of our arrival.
Behind the wall as you say, i am 100% sure it was Keiko, not the person you try to make theory, no no it was not "Mirai", i rember Keiko has exactly the same clothes ^^
I recommend to "read" before multiplying comments about saves, it was stated sooner about them, i also recommend to "start" new, game is not hard or anything, there is no need for grinding unneeded materials or things like that (red/blue flowers or wood/money), i too started from fresh i not saw any issues with saves or anything so far.
where to get 2 types of wood for gate construction?
It was basically the 2 broken gate doors, they are as i remember where the gate was left side...

Yes that is what he was asking for, as far as i remember it was only that and Mayu will do her job if req. are met for them to be fixed.
The problem is that I picked them up but they didn't show up in the store.

Damn, I respect the grind, but Mayu needs em to repair
1st step is to pick those that Phoenix even shows you on the screenshot, then by picking them up they are with Mayu automatically you just need to have whats needed and then it's an easy task to complete.

Dude, I really hope that in the next version you fix the saves, because I don't want to replay the game again🙏🙏
This update was kind of anti-climatic. All we got were bugs and lost save files. This is a lot of work for only one person working on the game.
I deleted the 1st 3 saves but i still cant restore it. What is the new fix?
it was the same for me. Just start over.
At least i noticed more things in my 2nd play through.
